Here at M.A.P we value being able to see not only a long way forward but also to splay some light both left & right during our night rides. As ... 'You never know what might jump out'! We have for many years used AUX driving lights on nearly all of our bikes plus played around with upgrades of our main lights (not always successful) to get the best 'affordable' solution. Here is some of the gear we offer!

Plus a a few points to consider!
- Often upgrading you existing bulb is a good solution, we have used NAVA "Long Range" bulbs with good effect but in the latest bikes the OEM bulbs 'may or my not' be as efficient!
- Never increase wattage of your main bulb without consider the effect on the wiring loom, swtchgear, alternator output, of head light material (one rider damaged his plastic head light assembly by increased heat in hte socket area)
- Changing to a HID? One downside we have found (HID high beam) is the time some take to reach full brilliance. Sometimes a few seconds unlike a LED!
- Any AUX light should be operated only in conjunction with high beam (Law in all states)
- Using a relay is the best method of operating AUX lighting to avoid damage.
- A releay is essential when you have a CAN bus system on your bike 'AS IS' it's proper connection to the bikes wiring, less damage occurs!
- Have a socket outlet on a CAN Bus bike, generally they are current limited. If you wan to run a tyre compressor pump, a second socket wired via it's own fuse direct to the battery is an answer!
- If you are not sure of your wiring skills or knowledge, DONT do it yourself, get a specialist to do it!
