Why are the Hepco instructions in German? Hepco & Becker manufactures in Germany but exports worldwide! Hence the instruction are in the home language ands it is expected the regional importer will handle any enquiries.   New kits coming on line are easy to understand (even in German) as they now feature, parts list in English, step by step photos clear drawing of components used at each stage.   There are 1000+ instruction sets, therefore M.A.P can provide a translation or support on request at time of sale.
Any Special Tools Required to fit Hepco & Becker? In general no! A standard tool kit normally will be Ok.  However depending on manufacturer, a special tool may be required.  eg 502.918 R1200GS requires a T50 Torx tool to remove the rear engine bolt.  All H&B kits use metric hex heads cap screws!
