Auxiliary Fan - KTM 990-950 Adventure

The Black Dog Cycle Works Auxiliary Fan kit for the KTM 950/990 Adventures is a great way to keep your bike cool while running hard, which these bikes obviously like to do.
This kit is a complete plug and play kit, using factory style connectors so no splicing is required.  The fan comes pre-assembled and our custom wiring harness makes installation a snap.  While the right tank needs to be removed to install the kit (and in our opinion, the installation is made slightly easier by removing the left tank as well), the rest of the install is quick.  Perfect for when you are servicing the bike for maintenance.

This system allows the bike to COOL DOWN 39% FASTER when compared to the performance of the single stock fan.  Great for riding in hotter climates, traffic or when riding the bike hard off-road at low speeds.   The 950 & 990 Adventures come with a single fan on the left side of the bike.  This fan kit puts a second fan on the right side of the bike which pulls air through the radiator, just like the stock single fan. The BDCW fan shroud is designed to have a minimal impact on air flow when the fan is not activated, unlike other systems.
