A Hepco & Becker motorcycle Tank Guard (aka 'Upper Crash Bars') on your BMW G 310 GS 2017 on offers upper protection for both the engine and the side of the bike during pushovers or falls. Each engine guard is a bike specific design for perfect match and easy installation. Manufactured from high quality mild steel and now for selected models stainless steel, our guards are either in 22mm or 25mm diameter (most adventure bikes) or 32mm for most cruisers, they assist in limiting damage in a mishap as many customers have attested.

NOTE Some images may show the optional Tank Guard also fitted.

If you think your bike might fall over whilst off roading, I’d agree, I have fitted sump plate, engine guard and this upper guard, which has added 9.6kg to the bike. Although it has not changed riding dynamics or ease of handling. It fits to frame and lower guard. If dropped this will protect the plastics around the tank from direct impact. Plastics are expensive.
