Basic fuel tank ring for Yamaha Tracer 9 GT / GT+ / Y-AMT (2025–)

This functional tank ring allows you to attach a Hepco&Becker tank bag.
The package includes a BASIC tank ring, as well as the counter-bracket, which can be screwed onto the tank bag individually, depending on the shape of the tank and the handlebar angle. 
You can still open the fuel cap without any problems whilst the tank ring is fitted. 
Generally speaking, all you need is this tank ring and a tank bag for the Yamaha Tracer 9 GT / GT+ / Y-AMT (2025-) and you’ll have everything you need.
Each model-specific tank ring is listed for the relevant motorbike model in the “My Bike” database. If no tank ring is listed, you can also check manually using the checklist here in the shop to see whether a universal tank ring is available for the model you want. • Easy to use thanks to a mechanical locking mechanism
• The Hepco&Becker tank bag is simply placed on the tank ring and locks into place with a distinct audible click
• Unlocking: The mechanism is unlocked using a strap at the front of the tank bag, facing the direction of travel, after which the tank bag can simply be removed
• No ABE (General Operating Permit) or registration is required for this product when fitted in accordance with the instructions
• Recommended maximum speed with the tank bag fitted: 130 km/h
• Recommended load capacity of the tank bag: approx. 3 kg

Difference between the Lock-it and BASIC tank rings:
The general function and operation remain the same. However, unlike the Lock-it tank ring, the BASIC tank ring locks purely mechanically. With the Lock-it tank ring, the magnets assist with centring. The difference therefore lies solely in the two magnetic or plastic domes, which are screwed onto the tank ring. The actual model-specific ‘metal ring’ is the same for both versions.

Further notes:
A tank bag with a Lock-it retaining bracket cannot be fitted to a BASIC tank ring, and vice versa. The tank bag retaining bracket and the tank ring must be from the same system.
