The TRANSAVER is a unique and simple device that has an identical feel in both up and downshifting when regular down pressure is applied, but when over-stressed has the ability to compress the gas strut momentarily in order to save the delicate parts moving around in your transmission.

NOTE: with the TRANSAVER on the 790/890/ 901 Adventure model you can no longer 'fine-tune' your shifter's vertical location via the shift rod due to the short length of the shift rod on this model. With the TRANSAVER, shift locations are now determined by the spline on the lever attached to the engine's shift shaft similar to adjusting a shift lever height on a standard dirt bike. You will find that they are still quite standard.
